With the release of the next update for Warframe, it’s been a while since the last major update.
We’re still in the early stages of the cycle, but there are a couple of important announcements that we’ll be keeping an eye on over the next couple of months.
The first is the first major update since we saw the Warframe release back in June.
Called the “Warp” patch, it brings with it the “New Warframe” storyline, which has been the focus of some significant changes over the past few months.
A couple of things to note: The first big update comes in the form of a new campaign called “The Awakening”.
You can see the teaser trailer for the campaign below.
You’ll be able to play it during the launch weekend, so it’s important to be ready.
The campaign also includes a few new features, including the ability to change your Warframe’s color palette and an ability to save and load Warframes in-game.
Additionally, a new “Campaign Map” is also available in the “The Beginning” campaign mode, which will include a new map and new bosses.
We’ll have more details on the campaign and map in the coming weeks.
The other major update comes with a new PvP playlist, and it’s also a very big one.
“The End” is a PvP playlist that focuses on the new “Darkest Dungeon” that players can fight in.
Players can fight the new boss in the dark, which is a boss-only map that is a lot of fun.
As of right now, there’s no official announcement on when we’ll see the final PvP playlist release.
This map will be available on the server in the next patch.
A couple of other changes are coming to the Warframes UI, including some visual improvements and a more unified “HUD” that makes it easier to see all of the WarFrames in your team.
The HUD, which was previously a single piece of UI, will now be two separate pieces.
The new HUD also has a better way to display information on a Warframe that isn’t available through the UI.
For example, you can see what weapon you’ve equipped on the right side of the UI, and you can also see the cooldowns of your weapons on the left side of that UI.
These are all things that you might have missed previously, and now it’s more clear what the UI is doing.
In the coming months, we’ll also be introducing new ways for players to track their Warframes, including a new way to track a WarFrame’s stats.
We’ve got a bunch of exciting updates planned for the next few months, so stay tuned for more updates on Warframe as they come!
